Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Packaging Technologist role on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacture who are well-known in the market for their great tasting products!
Working alongside the Packaging Manager and Development Team, you will assist with the development of new and existing packaging to support business growth and development.
Key Duties of a Packaging Technologist include:
- Provide packaging support to lead the market through the launch of new products and promoting innovation
- Management of packaging specs to include, new packaging specs and initiation of approval for packaging specs throughout the business
- Create packaging mock ups for customer visits
- Manage relationships with suppliers, customers/retailers for NPD samples and innovation
- Communicate packaging changes to the wider business, to include a large involvment with team meetings
- Work with the wider business function on sustainability projects
Key Skills and Experienced Required as a Packaging Technologist:
- Previous experience working with a packaging development role
- Experience within the food industry or a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management and self-motivation
- Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office
