The Role
We are looking for a Packing and Despatch Supervisor for a fabrication company based in Leicester. The role is to work in a bust powder coating department, reporting to the Production Director.
Due to the location of the company, own transport is essential.
The Role
Managing Labelling and packing goods as they come off the paint line
Managing personnel unloading paintline
Quality inspection of goods as they are packed
Creating delivery notes / packing labels
Loading of vans
Requesting packaging supplies
The Candidate
1. Have previous experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
2. Physically able and OK with heavy lifting
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
4. Flexible approach to working hours and overtime
5. Work well as part of a team
Able to supervise and co-ordinate a team of operatives

They can handle one off bespoke projects/prototypes through to production runs. The company has state of the art plant and machinery so can offer design through to finished powder coated product. They have a team of experienced metalworkers and engineers.
