Packing Operative

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers.

Duties:
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards
- Conduct quality control checks on packed items
- Utilise the warehouse management system for order processing
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required
- Operate forklifts for moving stock within the warehouse
- Perform picking and packing duties to fulfil customer orders
- Utilise mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting packing equipment issues
- Manage stock levels and assist with materials handling tasks

Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently
- Proficiency in quality control procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Valid forklift licence preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
