Full Time Packing Team Leader, £12.50-£15.00 per hour

We currently have an opportunity available for a full time, permanent position as a Packing Team Leader

The Role

The role of the Team Leader is to support the management in ensuring the smooth running of the Production Department to deliver quality and quantity on time every time.

Key Responsibilities and Outputs

• Delivering agreed production plan.
• Increase the output on machines.
• Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain production and meet agreed targets

We are looking for someone to

Support to: Production Supervisor

Direct Supports: General Operatives

The role holder is responsible for:

• Ensure that products are meeting spec.
• Ensure that production process is carried out correctly.
• Ensure the care and safe operation of equipment.
• Reporting to Supervisor on handover of shift.
• Assisting QA team in completing paperwork.
• Supporting Technical team on enforcing food safety.
• Individual workflow and task delivery.

The Person

· Ability to work as part of a small team and to also be able to work alone

· Self-motivated, able to use own initiative and organise own work

· Have a flexible approach to work tasks and able to prioritise those tasks

· Prepared to learn new skills and suggest new ideas

· Friendly demeanour and a sense of humour, please!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
