Paediatric Complex Support Worker

About Us:
At Yorhealth we provide care for children and young adults with Complex Care needs. You will be working in the family home. This role includes supporting children with a variety of complex needs including but not limited to:
* Cerebral Palsy
* Epilepsy
* Down Syndrome
* Neurological Conditions
* Conditions with required Tracheostomy
* Conditions with required Ventilation
* Conditions with requirement of peg feeding
* Variety of learning difficulties
About You:
* We are looking for a warm and friendly individual who has a passion for young people’s wellbeing and have a caring and patient nature.
* An understanding of the developmental and educational needs of children and young people
* Current Clinical Competence is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
* An NVQ level 2 or above in the relevant area is desirable.

We are looking for workers to work with our children in the Nottingham Areas to include NG8, NG2, Ilkeston and City Centre area. If you would like to develop your clinical skills and join a company that really does care then this is the position for you.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.60-£14.10 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
