Frimley Park Hospital’s Paediatric Emergency Department currently sees almost 30,000 children per year between the ages of 0-17 with varying needs ranging from minor injuries and illnesses to trauma and resus.
However we have local and national reputation for delivering a consistently high standard of clinical care, which we are extremely proud of. We believe, in part, it is due to the focus on the training and development that we offer to our staff.
With a dedicated practice development lead and Staff Nurse development programme providing you support in learning and developing key areas such as emergency nurse skills, plastering, minor injury assessment, paediatric life support. Alongside both internal and external opportunities to develop leadership skills, ED specialist course and departmental SIM.
