Anicca Digital is recruiting for an Account Manager in Paid Media, with strong practical experience in Search, Social and Shopping.


As this is a mid-level role, you should have spent a minimum of the last 2-years’ in a similar role, either in-house or preferably within a UK based agency.


Note: It is essential that you have worked in a Paid Media role in the last 2-3 years, for a UK agency or company. As we require current experience in running campaigns like Performance Max and Advantage+. If your experience pre-dates this then it will be out of date and you will not be suitable for this role, as you must be able to manage your own ads accounts, without supervision.


You will join our award-winning agency team based in our office in Leicester city centre. However, fully flexible and remote working is available - with a minimum requirement of attending the office 4 days per month (either weekly or in short bursts).


We have a published pay scale and a transparent career path, with opportunities for rapid promotion for high-performing and ambitious applicants. This role is full time and you will receive a salary of £28k-£35k depending on your experience.


The Role

The Paid Media Account Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of our clients' PPC and Paid Social Media campaigns. You will be intrigued and led by the data, to help your clients meet their objectives and KPIs. Accuracy is important for us, and as a result you will have a keen eye for detail.


The role is all about the hands-on delivery of client campaigns. From ideation, to set-up, management and reporting. You will work across B2B and B2C clients delivering lead generation, awareness and eCommerce strategies.


You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience running ads on the following two networks:

  • Meta Ads
  • Google Ads


Experience in the below platforms is also beneficial:

  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Microsoft Ads
  • Amazon/Marketplace Ads
  • Tik Tok Ads
  • Pinterest Ads
  • X (Twitter) Ads
  • Affiliate networks
  • Looker Studio (Data Studio)


As part of the Paid Media team you will also collaborate with our Creative, SEO, Content, Digital PR teams to deliver cross-channel strategies for our clients.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Account management

  • You will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation, and strategy across a portfolio of clients
  • Plan, implement and deliver campaigns across Paid Media channels, including the creation of detailed campaign plans
  • You will be familiar with tracking capabilities within each of the platforms and will be comfortable in ascertaining if the tracking is correctly reporting
  • You will be responsible for new client set-ups and it will be your role to ensure that these setups adhere to best practices
  • You will have experience managing eCommerce campaigns and the use of product catalogues
  • You will be able to advise and feedback on creative requirements to ensure the success of your campaigns across the networks
  • It will be your responsibility to optimise client accounts on a day-to-day basis to deliver on those clients' objectives and KPIs
  • You will be proactive in driving innovation and growth for your client portfolios, and continuously look for and report back on potential opportunities for each client
  • You will have a strong understanding and capability to run reports and analyse data, and will be comfortable in using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) to support you in doing this
  • You will be responsible for liaising with and reporting to clients on their campaign’s performance against their KPIs, as well as the management of their budgets


Other responsibilities

  • At times you may be required to assist in our business development process, through the undertaking of account audits, market research and account strategy, and the delivery of proposals to prospects where you can showcase your expert skills
  • You’ll stay on top of new features and trends within Paid Media and wider digital marketing to ensure you are driving cutting-edge campaigns for your clients
  • As part of the role thought leadership is expected and from time to time you will be asked to support our blog and webinar program
  • You will communicate your expertise with the other team members, to share and develop technical skills
  • You may be required to deliver external training, webinars and courses to our learners, delegates or clients
  • You will be required to pass and maintain qualifications in each platform


Soft skills

  • You will have excellent verbal and written English in order to develop effective copy for ads
  • You will be a clear and confident communicator, with experience in developing and presenting strategies and results to clients and internal stakeholders
