Paid Media Specialist - Up to £50k - Agency - Manchester (3 days in office)

Our client is a progressive and dynamic Digital Marketing agency based in Manchester. They work with a diverse range of clients, from household name brands to specialist service providers across B2B and B2C.

The ideal candidate will have experience across a range of Paid Media channels, from PPC to Social, and be adept at using diverse strategies to achieve positive client KPIs. This position is perfect for a Paid Media professional with a few years of experience who is ready to step into a more senior role, develop leadership skills, and influence product direction, processes, and strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts across various channels, including Search, Shopping, Display, and Social Media.
  • Guide junior team members in campaign direction and ensuring they are of a high standard.
  • Develop strategy documentation, project plans, forecasts, budget recommendations, and reports.
  • Monitor account performance, providing detailed analysis and insights.
  • Ensure proper tracking and attribution for Paid Media activities.
  • Identify and recommend new commercial opportunities and Paid Media activities for clients.
  • Participate in weekly reporting calls with clients.
  • Oversee media budgets, performing month-end reconciliation and administrative tasks.
  • Enhance personal and junior colleagues' skills by identifying knowledge gaps and facilitating skill development.
  • Serve as a role model and advocate for the Paid Media team, proposing new ideas and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Strategy Director to improve Paid Media offerings and develop new products.
  • Represent the team in strategy review processes, sharing performance data and ensuring alignment with other channels.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 4 years’ experience managing Paid Media campaigns, either in an agency or in-house.
  • Up-to-date Google Ads certifications.
  • Proficient in using major ad platforms, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Supermetrics.
  • Experienced in Search, Display, and Social channels, with a solid grasp of each.
  • Interested in exploring emerging channels like DOOH, Programmatic, Audio, and Marketplace advertising.
  • Clear understanding of digital marketing practices for B2C and B2B business models.
  • Ability to map out and implement new processes across the team.
  • Ambition to lead a team and consider the 'big picture' for Paid Media solutions.
  • Analytical thinker, highly organized, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, comfortable with a range of formulas (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs).
  • Proactive attitude and ambition to explore new ideas and ways of working.
