Paint Shop Assistant

Interaction Recruitment are currently for a candidate to work in our client’s Paint shop on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Paint Shop Assistant, you will need:

• Previous experience working within a busy factory Environment.
• Be physically fit.
• Show attention to detail
• Have some experience in paint spraying

Duties of a Paint Shop Assistant:

• Working with the Power Coaters
• Preparing and cleaning surfaces prior to going on paint track
• Load items onto paint track
• Remove / unhook items from paint track
• Quality check final products
• Liase with team leader if issues showing in quality
• Paint spraying
• Packing and label for shipment
• Paint thickness testing
• Completion of paperwork to record results.

Details of a Paint Shop Assistant:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 16:00 – Early finish on Fridays
• Pay rate £12.00 p/h  
• Temporary to Permanent Role
