Overview:
Our client is looking to take on a permanent Paint Sprayer Technician to develop into a fantastic bicycle resprayer. All training will take place in-house; this is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in painting. They are looking for a bright enthusiastic person who is not afraid to learn and progress. Job specification:
- Prepare frames and components for respray
- Prepare, mix and colour match paints
- Spraying and finishing / polishing bicycle frames.
- Use of power tools or manual tools to sand / spray / polish as required in Paint Spraying process
- Create & cut or print decals utilising a cutting machine or Roland printers.
- Maintain and keep tools and workstations / spray booths and PPE equipment clean
- Follow required health and safety guidelines.
Person specification:
- Experience in the use of manual and power tools, including spray guns
- Previous experience in spray painting / repairing / craft making / construction / set design or similar
- Computer skills and decal printing an advantage
- Reasonable English communication skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and to take instruction.
- Hands on, 'can do’, proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative.
- Punctual and tidy
Additional Information:
- Based in Leatherhead
- Full time position
- Starting Salary £23,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Holidays 28 days including Bank Holidays
- Hours Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16:30 (1 hour for lunch) currently no weekend work
- Workshop Team Kit (Shirt / Fleece) will be provided
