Our client has an opportunity for a Painter to join their Empty Homes - Property Services team to play a vital part in the refurbishment of Empty Homes to deliver high quality homes that their customers can be proud of.

The role

You’ll be part of a team who are responsible for transforming their homes to an excellent condition ready for letting to their customers. This could include general priming, undercoating and glossing of timber and metal items as well as plaster patching and full / partial redecoration.

You’ll have:

• Experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sector.

• Relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate, Relevant NVQ Level 3 or relevant recognised apprenticeship

• Able to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions.

• Able to accurately follow/identify maintenance and improvement works, from work instructions and technical drawings and plans.

• To be able to undertake maintenance work across a number of separate trades.

• A full driving licence for use in the UK
