They are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Paralegal to join their dynamic conveyancing team.
Position Summary: As a Paralegal specialising in Conveyancing, you will play a crucial role in supporting their conveyancing team in delivering efficient and effective legal services to our clients. The successful candidate will assist in the management of residential property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and providing exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:
File Management:
Organise and manage conveyancing files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare and maintain client files, including relevant correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents.
Client Communication:
Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on the progress of transactions.
Communicate with external parties, such as solicitors, estate agents, and other professionals involved in conveyancing transactions.
Legal Research:
Conduct legal research to support the conveyancing team in staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in preparing legal documents and reports related to conveyancing transactions.
Due Diligence:
Assist in conducting due diligence on properties, including title searches, land registry checks, and other relevant investigations.
Work closely with solicitors to identify and resolve legal issues that may arise during the conveyancing process.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, including drafting letters, emails, and other correspondence.
Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and assist in managing deadlines for transactions.
Requirements
Previous experience as a paralegal, with a focus on conveyancing.
Knowledge of residential property transactions and conveyancing processes.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in legal research and the use of relevant legal software.
