Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join our team in Leicester. As a Paramedic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering advanced clinical care and support to patients in various settings, including emergency response, primary care, and community healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced clinical assessment, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and interpret results to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Administer medications, perform minor surgical procedures, and provide interventions in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies to optimize health outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Requirements:
Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Paramedic Practitioner.
Bachelor's degree in Paramedic Science or related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency, urgent care, or primary care settings.
Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in emergency medicine, trauma care, and acute illness management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
