Our Parent Support Specialist will take our commitment to providing an unrivalled customer experience to another level, ensuring great quality and consistency to every interaction we have with parents and carers throughout the enquiry process.

Get out what you put in

As a Parent Support Specialist for our schools in the Midlands, you will be the first point of contact for parents and carers that are interested in Witherslack Group. You will be able to build relationships and be able to effectively communicate our extensive educational offering. This role requires close partnership working across Witherslack Group’s commercial team, schools, and group office function by support, liaison and negotiation.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for all parents and carers that are enquiring about Witherslack Group schools and will skilfully and compassionately provide appropriate advice, guidance and signposting as needed.

•Experience of the EHCP process and/or supporting a child or young person with special educational needs.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft well written, empathetic and personalised email communication

•Ability to demonstrate genuine empathy and warmth when talking to parents/carers and provide and adapt tailored advice to individual needs and circumstances,

•Excellent listening skills and understanding of how to structure a conversation through open questions and active listening

•Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks simultaneously
