The Parenting and Group Work Service sits within the Early Help and Prevention Service. Early Help and Prevention has a strong ethos of partnership working and innovative initiatives to improve the lives of children, young people, and their families.

Exciting opportunities within the Early Help and Prevention service
The Early Help and Prevention Service have an emphasis on the following areas:
- family case work, Parenting and Group Work
- supporting people affected by domestic violence and abuse
- providing early help for people needing support with family life
- young people leaving school and moving into further education or employment
- providing accessible youth services to engage young people across the borough

Our Parenting and Group Workers offer groups for young people, parents/carers and people who have been harmed that are crucial to the delivery of our high-quality early help and prevention service. You will need to be a great team player and used to responding quickly to risk and the needs of service users.
There are two full time permanent posts and one full time temporary post.
The posts available are based across Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford and the role will cover the whole of the Cheshire West and Chester area and there are flexible working options.
The closing date for the posts are 17th March 2024 with interviews likely to be held week commencing 25th March 2024.
