Parish Nurse

Parish Nurse Vacancy 20 hours per week £16.50 per hour, £32,298 pro-rata with initial 2 year contract

This is an exciting opportunity for a NMC registered nurse to develop a new ministry of holistic health support in the parish of Stratford-upon-Avon, in collaboration with the Minister for Nurture and Outreach and the church Pastoral Team.

The Parish Nurse will be based at Holy Trinity Parish Centre, and will work with existing church contacts in the community, to signpost clients to relevant NHS and commuity based health services, to help the client to understand their own health and well-being needs, and to advocate for them.

Key to the role, the Parish Nurse will also be be able to provide spiritual and prayer support to their clients, when requested, and will be a bridge between the Church and the community. As such, it is a genuine occupational requirement for the candidate to be a committed practicing Christian.
