Our friendly Parks Team are looking forward to welcoming an enthusiastic and driven colleague, to help maintain a number of high quality parks and open spaces in the District.
Providing a high profile, welcoming presence, as part of the front of house team you will be promoting the service and serving customers, along with supporting community events. Carry out park-keeping/site maintenance at a variety of locations.
You will need previous experience of working in a park, sport, leisure or community environment, plus experience of risk assessment and knowledge of health and safety. You will also have excellent communication and customer service skills.
A full driving licence minimum class B is essential for this post. Please note that this post works on an annualised hours basis, with longer shifts in the summer and shorter over the winter period, including regular weekends and evenings. Full details of this would be discussed at interview.
