We are looking for a Ranger to join our team here at Grafham Water. As a Ranger, most of your time will be spent outside, undertaking maintenance of the Water Park, managing the fishery and ensuring the infrastructure is in good condition. You'll be in constant contact with our visitors and part of your role will be to provide excellent customer service.
You'll be responsible for all aspects of safety and security of site for customers and staff, including supervision of the safe use of leisure equipment, security of all assets and the operation of security systems. You'll also maintain condition of site, infrastructure, signage and fleet, with safety inspections and routine repairs.
You'll assist with use of site facilities, providing tuition on operation of boats and equipment, advising on permits and enforcing bylaws. You'll also support in the management of fisheries by maintaining appropriate level and quality of stock, reporting variances to Fishery Manager, report weekly on catch data, and ensure compliance with relevant permit and hire bylaws

- Experience in the management and maintenance of country parks and/or fisheries
- Advantageous if you have a land management and/or water based practical qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strive to deliver outstanding customer service around Grafham Water
- If successful in your application, you will have access to a company vehicle to use whilst on site, so a full driving licence is essential.
