Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We are seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant for a well-established independent practice based in Coventry, providing a full architectural service to residential, commercial, and community clients and projects.
They have taken on a number of long-term projects and so are seeking to strengthen their team.
The Role:
The successful Part 2 Architectural Assistant will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the production of architectural drawings, reports and concepts
* Formulating and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues
* Carrying out studies and design proposals for review
* Assisting with planning applications, building regulations and appeals
* Working autonomously on concept layouts
* Inspecting building work on site
The Candidate:
As the bulk of the work is in the residential sector, demonstrable experience in this is desirable; alongside that, the ideal person for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant will have:
* An ARB (UK Architectural Registration Board) Part 2 accreditation or recognised degree
* Post Part 2 experience
* Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and their application
* Proficiency in architectural software
* Strong design skills
* Good communication skills
The Package:
