Our client, an established property developer, are seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team based in Farringdon. They have developed new clients within the area and are seeking a talented Architect with excellent design skills to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to further their career within a busy and thriving environment. Our client have a clear passion for sustainable design / architecture, which should also be important to anyone applying.

The most successful Part II Architectural Assistant should have excellent design/technical ability and should be able to display this with a high-quality portfolio. Our client has developed a well-established, sustainable business model, with many clients in and around London. They pride themselves on their approach to Architecture taking a sustainable approach to all of their work. Projects vary from single dwelling, bespoke projects to larger scale projects. A years' experience is preferential for this role as they will be expected to hit the ground running, ideally this experience should be within the residential or hospitality sectors. Our client uses Vectorworks as their primary software so previous use of this software would be highly desirable.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to further their career within a busy office with a vast & interesting pipeline of projects, predominately within the residential & hospitality sectors. You will have the opportunity to work within a property developer that has a real 360 degree aspect to their business.

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview

• Produce details
• Create Design and access statements
• Work on a variety of listed buildings
• Producing feasibility studies, planning applications and tender packages
• Producing high-quality drawings on Vectorworks
• Meeting with the council & other professionals
• Working on various exciting projects in the Hospitality & Residential sectors

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements

• Proficiency with Vectorworks software (Desirable)
• Interested / previous experience working on listed buildings
• Prior experience working on Hospitality or Residential sectors highly advantageous
• Have good travel links with the Farringdon area
• Highly motivated & team player
• Excellent design skills & Relevant degree qualified

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary (£28,000 - £35,000 DOE)
