If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our catering team as a Chef De Partie for a local healthcare organisation on a Part Time basis.
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality, nutritious and delicious meals for patients, visitors and staff, following strict hygiene and safety standards. You will work closely with the head chef and the dietitians to plan and develop menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification
- At least two years of experience as a Chef De Partie or a similar role in a catering operation
- A good knowledge of various cuisines and dietary requirements
- A creative and innovative approach to cooking and menu development
- A positive and flexible attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
- A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Working Part Time 3 days a week (7.5hrs a day) either 7-3pm, 9-5pm or 12-8pm, this is a great opportunity for someone to work in a friendly work environment, with opportunities for training and career progression and where you can make a difference to the lives of others. Paying £13.51 per hour.
