We are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaner to join our exceptional cleaning team. The role involves cleaning all communal areas, laundry, refuse room, kitchen and lounge and includes guest suite turnaround (to includes bed changing and ironing) at 2 retirement flat complexes in LLandaff, the collection and disposal of waste, washing of bins, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all allocated areas. The role requires working in partnership with the site House Management to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
This will also involve adhering to safe working practices as required, and assisting with any special arrangements for outside of the time requirements.
The candidate will be contracted for a total 14 hours a week,
Mon- 9am-12pm - 3 hours 12.15pm-2.15pm 2 hours
Wed- 9am-12pm - 2 hours 12.15pm-2.15pm 2 hours.
Fri- 9am-12pm - 3 hours 12.15pm-2.15pm 2 hours
Skills and Experience Required
Full driving license and own transport required
The ability to work effectively both in a team and under your own initiative.
The ability to understand written and oral instructions.
Knowledge and use of basic cleaning equipment and materials
Honesty and integrity.
Professional and approachable attitude.
Self motivated with a positive 'can do' approach to work
Reliable and punctual.
An understanding of H&S requirements and experience of cleaning desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
As the role requires a considerable amount of physical activity, candidates should be fit and able.
