Part Time Credit Decisions Analyst

Anderson Knight are looking to recruit for a Part-Time Credit Decisions Analyst for one of our clients based in Glasgow. This client is offering either 14 or 21 hour contracts, working evenings and weekends with the opportunity for overtime when available.

The role is to review applications made by the customer individually, gather data to support a rounded view of each potential customer’s situation and decide the affordability for the applicant ensuring that it is in line with the business’s credit risk. 

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Review, analyse and decide the affordability for applicants on car finance referrals. 
•    Ensure all Credit Decisions are made in line with business’s policies, processes and procedures
•    Process each referral through all required checks, these include but are not limited to trace, affordability, credit behaviour and vehicle criteria using tools which include Credit Reference Bureau, Glass Guide, CIFAS.
•    Ensure all files have sufficient to each assessed referral in line with policies and procedures
•    Ensure you are following all GDPR policies.
•    Remain vigilant to suspicious behaviour, evidence of fraud or anti-money laundering activities.
•    Ensure you keep up to date with knowledge on policies and procedures
•    Provide excellent customer service to all customers.

Experience & Skills:

•    Customer Service experience within a financial services environment is required
•    The ability to analyse and interpret credit reference data.
•    Studying or in possession of a finance or risk related qualification would be highly advantageous 
•    The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
•    Attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills.
