Part-Time Credit Risk Analyst

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a reputable business in the Leeds area as they look to recruit a Credit Risk Analyst on a part-time, permanent basis based in Leeds working 3 days a week.
The role would suit a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA Accountant who has strong technical, analytical and reporting skills.  

You will be an integral part of the team and will utilise your accounting knowledge and experience to interpret financial and non-financial information to determine the credit worthiness of existing and new business customers. Contributing towards key business decisions relating to the customer base. 

You will perform Credit Risk reviews as part of the Credit Committee process and in line with the current Credit Risk policy as well as monitoring the existing customer base and any potential new business.   

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• The preparation of credit reviews for various areas of the business 
• Collation, preparation, distribution and maintenance of financial controls  
• Implementing and monitoring new and existing customer bases 
• To monitor the results to ensure all relevant ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of issues to the relevant parties in the team and the business
• To manage the relationship with credit ratings providers to ensure we are extracting as much value added as possible from the services we are subscribed to in relation to the existing / new customer base
• Manage the relationship with the new business teams across varying divisions 
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to influence senior stakeholders across the business 
• Producing detailed reports and forecasting

Experience needed: 

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA Accountant
• Experience of vehicle leasing or financial services
• Strong IT capabilities including good excel knowledge, data manipulation 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Approachable with the ability to coach and support the wider business
• Stakeholder management experience 
• Understanding of Credit Risk
