The ideal candidate will understand current Data Privacy legislation and execute strategies to follow best practices. Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist
Type: Hybrid, Part-time (20 - 30 hours per week)
Salary: Circa £58,000 (full time equivalent)
Location: Reading
Responsibilities:
* Advise on Data Privacy issues
* Plan and execute Data Privacy strategies
* Monitor implementation of Data Privacy compliance
* Stay on top of Data Privacy legislation
* Coordinate training on Data Privacy matters for all relevant individuals
* Ensure the business follows best practice in the topic of Data Privacy
* Assist in the investigation and implementation of solutions for complaints and privacy breaches
* Prepare reports on Data Privacy compliance
Skills and experience:
* Previous experience in a compliance role
* Experience in management
* Excellent organisation
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Proactive and shows initiative
* Ability to deal with complaints calmly
* Strong communication skills
