Part-Time Finance Administrator

We are supporting a company based in Brighton who are recruiting for a Part–time Finance Administrator, working 25 hours a week. Ideally you would work 9:30am – 2:30pm or 10am – 3pm daily, 5 days a week. This is a permanent, hybrid position so you would be based in the office 3 days a week and working from home for the remaining 2 days. Salary would be pro–rata but the FTE is 26,000.

Duties include:

• Assisting the credit control team with administration tasks
• Setting up new accounts and sending terms & conditions to new clients
• Manage several mailboxes, distributing when required or responding
• Prepare and send statements and sales invoices to clients
• Ensure all documentation is correctly filed and updated
• Update weekly and monthly reports
• Contact clients for details when required to assist with refunds, request remittance advises and update billing information

You must be highly attentive to details as you will be require to perform accuracy checks on data held and be able to recognise where amendments need to be made. You must also be confident working with numbers and have working experience of Microsoft functions. Ideally you will have experience of using SUN systems however this is not essential.

The job duties may vary depending on the needs of the business so you must be adaptable and able to prioritise, while remaining positive to achieve a high standard. You must have good communication and relationship building skills as you will be required to liaise with clients.
