We are working with our client based in Pickering to find their next experienced Part-time Finance Manager. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, reporting into the Group Financial Controller and Director. You will also work alongside and very closely with the family directors to manage the group's property and investment portfolios.You must have good excel skills to be considered for this role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the Group, including review of nominal ledgers, processing group recharges, posting of accruals and prepayments, and bank reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly reporting on investment and property portfolios. At quarter end, assist with preparation of Family Board reports
- Prepare monthly management accounts for existing Group JV and set up and prepare accounts for any future acquisitions, supporting thr Group FC with consolidation of these figures at year end
- Daily and weekly Group cash reporting and forecasting, as well as monitoring aging of ledgers
- Assist with management of property portfolios, including raising invoices, monitoring receipts, and dealing with ad-hoc queries
- Preparation of quarterly Group VAT returns, monthly CIS returns and support of year-end tax work
- Support the preparation of year end budgets and forecasting throughout the year
- Support the annual audit process for Group and preparation of statutory accounts
- Management of ad-hoc Group costs and contracts, such as timesheets and expenses
- Continue to develop Group reporting processes, reviewing and developing controls and procedures in place
This role is 25 hour a week vacancy, however they can be slightly flexible on hours.
