Harvey John is working closely with an ambitious, highly entrepreneurial hospitality group on sourcing a Finance Manager to join their business in a newly created, Part Time role. Since their formation in 2015, this company has gone from strength to strength and expanded to 10 units with further expansion plans taking shape. This is a very exciting time for this individual to be joining as part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the COO and actively contributing towards the next phase of growth.

Our client offers a close-knit, sociable office environment of committed staff. They can offer a flexible working environment with hybrid working available after induction. Due to the small team in place, this role would suit a hands-on professional who is happy to contribute to wider operational activities when needed and will enjoy a broad, commercially focused role with ample opportunity to add value.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing financial transactions.
• Reconciling accounts.
• Preparing financial statements.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Financial record keeping and reporting.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Tax compliance.
• Audit Support.
• Analysis and interpretation of financial data and providing insights as part of the senior leadership team.
• Integrating new system into our supply/inventory and ordering platform.
• Payroll processing for up to 200 individuals using our scheduling software.
• Supporting and training our Bookkeeper.
• Helping with the smooth running of the office operation.
• Assisting with all other areas and duties where appropriate.

Candidate requirements:

• Ideally a qualified Accountant but active studiers working towards qualification will also be considered.
• Experience of managing staff.
• Experience of payroll and Xero valuable.
