Reed Education/The Lancashire Teaching Agency are looking for a dedicated Teacher for a PPA/Intervention Cover, commencing from September 2024 to cover 3 days per week working with different year groups.
This role offers the chance to work in an "Good" Ofsted rated and supportive faith school environment and make a positive impact on the educational journey of pupils in the school.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and effective teaching to KS1 and 2 pupils, in line with the national curriculum.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to ensure pupil progression.
- Creating a nurturing and inspiring classroom environment.
- Monitoring and supporting the social and emotional development of pupils.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of the children.
- Communicating with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress and development.
- Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across the KS1 and 2 is essential.
- Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
