Part Time Management Accountant Hybrid/Remote

Your new companyThis is a great opportunity to join a high-end luxury fashion designer/manufacturer as the Part-time Management Accountant 3 days per week with the opportunity for increased hours in the future. Initially there will be some requirement to work in the office, but thereafter you will have the capability to work from home if that is what you're looking for. Their projected turnover for the first year is circa GBP6M, and they are actively seeking either a part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant with significant experience as a Management Accountant, as well as job costing experience.

Your new roleAs the Part-time Management Accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Review and maintaining the general ledger.
• Posting around 300 monthly purchase invoices using QuickBooks and dex prepare
• Raising and posting monthly sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Recording and reconciling expenses sheet
• Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance.
• Preparation of year-end pack
• Reconciliation of periodic prepayment and accruals
• Reconciliation of PAYE, post the monthly journals and monitoring HMRC payments.
• Ensuring all import and export documents are obtained and recorded.
• Reconciliation of trail balance line items
• Liaison with associated companies and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
• Liaison with the auditors/accountants for the finalisation and filing of statutory accounts.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of the monthly cashflow forecast.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, it is essential you have experience in preparation of the monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting and job costing. Having experience in the following areas would be desirable but not essential:

• Manufacturing or high-end fashion and design
• Import/export VAT treatment
• Proficient using QuickBooks

What you'll get in returnOn offer is a competitive salary circa GBP40,000-GBP55,000 per annum FTE depending on experience with some flexibility potentially for the right candidate. Hybrid/Remote working is offered. As this company are a recent start up, the company benefits are standard but as the company grows, the benefits will increase.
