Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Part Time Plant Sales Assistant at our Whitchurch Garden Centre.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.
Part Time Plant Sales Assistant responsibilities;
- Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
- Identifying customers plant needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
- Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre
- Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
- All products are accurately priced and labelled in accordance with Company Policy
- Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
- Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner, and carry outs are offered where required
- Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
