About the Role:
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and versatile PPA Cover Teacher for a reputable school in Gloucester. This part-time position involves working on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, covering both morning and afternoon sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Morning Sessions: Teach Maths and Phonics to Years 1, 2, and 3.
Afternoon Sessions: Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover for Years 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple year groups.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of pupils.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain classroom discipline and manage pupil behaviour effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching primary school pupils, particularly in Maths and Phonics.
Ability to teach across different year groups (Years 1-5).
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classroom settings.
