Part-Time School Science Technician

The ONE Group are helping out one of our local secondary schools to recruit a Senior Science Lab Technician for approximately 1 month.

We're looking for someone who can start within the next week who is happy to work around 33 hours per week, spread over 5 days in the Cambourne/Comberton school catchment area.
Supporting a group of teachers and technicians, you will prepare the lab resources and provide technical advice and assistance for the classrooms, ensure the safe storage and disposal of chemicals, make sure stock is available and equipment is cleaned and stored ready for use again the next day.

As it's a school, you'll need to be able to gain an enhanced DBS, which the school will organise if you are successful.

The person we're looking for will need to have plenty of practical lab experience, be excellent at record keeping and associated admin, have a keen eye for health and safety and have plenty of enthusiasm!
