Partner Designate

We have an incredible opportunity for an experience Accountant to join a growing independent firm as a Partner Designate, being at the forefront of this exciting new stage of growth for the firm.
This expanding firm offer a range of services to support their clients, giving a well-rounded holistic approach to each individual business. With two offices, this role can be based from Hebden Bridge or Halifax.

• Manage and develop your own portfolio of clients, being the main point of contact, managing workflow within the team for your clients and be responsible for ensuring all work is completed on time.
• Manage the audit process for a small handful of businesses.
• Preparation and review of statutory year end accounts for a wide range of clients.
• Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns for a range of clients.
• Supporting and managing junior members of the team, assisting with appraisals, and supporting their training and development.

About you:

• Significant Practice Experience in a relevant role, demonstrating success at managing your own portfolio of clients and staff.
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience within audit would be desirable.
• Ability to manage internal processes to support Junior members of the team.
• Excellent communication skills, feeling comfortable conducting client meetings both face-to-face and via telephone etc.
