Job Description
The role requires/involves:
- Responsibility for sale and delivery of engagements advising on strategic sustainability topics
- Leadership of 2-3 project teams at any time, mapping comfortably to client's Project Sponsor (typically CEO, CEO-1 at blue chip firms)
- Manage and deepen relationships with key clients.
- Drive business development activities, including identifying new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments in Sustainability
- Generate thought leadership and be recognised within this field
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will come with:
- Client facing consulting experience, including experience successfully selling and leading strategy engagements
- Commercial Track record: comfortable with business development - holds several significant relationships; excited by challenge of selling a challenger brand
- Knowledge and credibility in sustainability: in particular the following area's will be of significant interest: sustainable finance, renewables, energy transition/decarbonisation.
- A strong educational background in a relevant field.
- Likely you will come with circa 10-15 years experience in this field and will have reached Director level equivalent roles
