Job description

Location: Remote based, but with monthly meetings in the South West
Package: £60,000 - £75,000 + bonus to circa £100k
The Role:
Our client is a well established and rapidly growing technology/SaaS organisation offering a unique portfolio of services to the Built Environment and Infrastructure sector across the UK and internationally. They are a prominent market player with sights set firmly on becoming market leader, given their broad technology proposition can't be equalled.
Given their ambitious objectives and significant rate of growth, an opportunity now exists for a talented Partner Manager who will take a lead on opening up new strategic relationships and further building on existing ones.
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with organisations that might not previously have considered strategic partnerships as part of their growth plans.
* Work closely with partners to research, engage and close commercial deals in the construction market.
* Compile a partnership plan which will support the attainment of your annual objectives.
* Be fully conversant with the product portfolio to the point where you can answer the majority of non-technical customer or prospect queries.
* Maintain and apply a full understanding of the company's sales cycle, as described in our
Sales Toolkit including its qualification methodology.
* Ensure that CRM is kept up to date on a real time basis so that at any one time the business can understand your progress towards objectives.
* Contribute to the success of the whole team by taking part in critical analysis of lost and closed business.
* Engage with and support the marketing, customer success, and product teams to help drive the business forward.
The Person:
* A background in the construction or infrastructure sector is of interest but not mandatory, however you will have been in a sales related role for several years in a technology centric organisation, and possess drive and ambition which will have been key characteristics in your continued success.
* You will have a strong commercial acumen, with experience in leveraging existing relationships and approaching new potential partners with a strategic proposition for mutual gain.
* Ideally you will be someone who has built or been part of a scaling partnership/channel function.
* You'll always be looking for opportunities for personal and career development with an appetite to take onboard best practice.
* Critical thinking is something that you already possess or will be interested in developing further.
* You should be self-sufficient, however comfortable performing in a team-based organisation/culture where coaching, support and continued development have been prominent cultural characteristics.
* Being articulate, both verbally and in written communication, is something you are proud to say is a strong suit of yours.
