Partnership Manager
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Old Trafford, M16 OPU
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

They are currently seeking a talented and driven Partnership Manager to join their team. develop, manage and maintain a strong pipeline of partnerships which deliver strong and sustainable industry learning, experience and employment opportunities for students and amplify them as an industry led higher education organisation.
The Role
- Play a leading role in the development and delivery of their partnership strategy.
- Lead and manage the ongoing operational delivery of their partnership plan, ensuring timely and productive engagement with all partners.
- Act as key account manager for their strategic partners, developing and growing relationships; understanding partner objectives, sharing outcomes and delivering individual partner strategies.
- Ensure delivery of a process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management, ensuring alignment with their strategic priorities
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound research and cold engagement activity.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and colleagues across all internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of activity that benefits all their students.
- Negotiate and finalise commercial activity in accordance with their contract guidelines and policies.
- Forecast, measure and report the results of all partner activity identifying new opportunities and supporting growth, for example identifying and delivering co-created content, network introductions, funding/fundraising, academic delivery partnering and event partnerships.
Skills &Qualifications
- Experience with managing commercial partnerships and sponsorships.
- Excellent people skills - with experience of successfully managing teams.
- Excellent engagement and communication in a client facing and business development focused role .
- Ability to both works proactively on your own initiative with minimum supervision and to work collaboratively, building strong and productive working relationships in the team, across the organisation and externally.
- Good knowledge of the Greater Manchester business community knowledge of the digital sector .
- Experience of income generation.
- Lead and manage the delivery of all mentors, work experience placements, internships and project opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with the careers team to arrange partner participation in career development events and workshops.
- Lead on generating graduate employment opportunities, preferential status and guaranteed interviews with existing and new partners, building a pipeline of talent from them into partner organisations.
- Work closely with the team engaged with bootcamps, short courses and degree apprenticeships to identify opportunities to extend partnerships.
- Prepare and present tailor-made proposals to the senior management of prospective partners.
- Work alongside colleagues in student recruitment to identify opportunities for partners to collaborate and enhance recruitment activities, increase event/activity awareness.
- Identify relevant external events and networking opportunities to ensure appropriate representation where relevant to the role.
- Support the development of and implementation of all industry panels and forums.
