The post holder will develop and implement a new community & challenge events fundraising strategy for Isabel Hospice which inspires and supports those across our community raising funds for our charity.
About the role
- Develop, implement, and manage the Community Fundraising & challenge events strategy and associated income and expenditure budgets, working to achieve agreed annual targets
- Maximise fundraising income from Community Fundraising with emphasis on growing supporter led activities
- Look to recruit and develop volunteer ambassadors to support community activities
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to design materials and collateral to inspire and encourage Community Fundraising
- Working with our CRM Raisers Edge to ensure all communications are being recorded and maintained so that accurate reports can be generated
- Keep ahead of latest marketing trends, best practice, and learnings across the sector
About you
- Proven experience of community & events fundraising
- Evidence of developing and managing new campaigns & initatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and organisation skills
- Ability to produce written reports and meet deadlines
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
