Job description

The post holder will develop and implement a new community & challenge events fundraising strategy for Isabel Hospice which inspires and supports those across our community raising funds for our charity.

About the role

  • Develop, implement, and manage the Community Fundraising & challenge events strategy and associated income and expenditure budgets, working to achieve agreed annual targets
  • Maximise fundraising income from Community Fundraising with emphasis on growing supporter led activities
  • Look to recruit and develop volunteer ambassadors to support community activities
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to design materials and collateral to inspire and encourage Community Fundraising
  • Working with our CRM Raisers Edge to ensure all communications are being recorded and maintained so that accurate reports can be generated
  • Keep ahead of latest marketing trends, best practice, and learnings across the sector

About you

  • Proven experience of community & events fundraising
  • Evidence of developing and managing new campaigns & initatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and organisation skills
  • Ability to produce written reports and meet deadlines
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
