Job description

Fixed term to 31 December 2024 to cover a secondment Ref: SC4578 Starting salary from £24,715 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £28,131 per annum  An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for an interesting and varied role as Partnerships Coordinator within Academic Partnerships. Academic Partnerships works with colleagues across the University and potential and existing partnerships regionally, nationally and internationally providing advice and guidance on a wide range of topics.    The successful candidate will be tasked with providing pro-active, high quality and efficient administrative support to a variety of activities working with a designated group of partners, as part of a small, dedicated team.  You will be responsible for arranging validation and institutional approval events including finding suitable panel members, committee scheduling, support and preparation of paperwork, organising conferences and events, diary management, maintaining and updating the Academic Partnerships website, marketing and communication tasks, promotion of UEA’s work with its partners via social media and reviewing office processes and procedures.  We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate initiative and innovation as well as excellent organisational, administrative and team skills. You will also have some budget responsibility and will be an authorised signatory for a range of accounts.  You should be experienced in being able to prioritise and work flexibly and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria in the person specification.   This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis to 31 December 2024. Please note Academic Partnerships are currently working to a hybrid model (subject to review), consisting of considerable remote working alongside regular days for face-to-face working at UEA with the team, as agreed with the line manager. UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
