Reed is working exclusively with a local business who is looking for a dedicated Parts Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts or sales within a busy environment. This role involves identifying the correct parts to meet customer needs, collaborating with technicians, and managing orders effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:- Identifying the correct parts to meet customer needs using technical drawings and online parts ordering systems.
- Collaborating with in-house technicians and partners to fulfil parts requirements.
- Placing orders for parts with suppliers and managing the order process.
- Receiving incoming parts, ensuring accuracy in quantity and conformity with orders.
- Keeping customers and partners informed about shortages and following up on pending orders.
- Assisting with periodic stocktaking activities and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Setting up parts quotes and ensuring competitive pricing for customers.
- Previous experience within parts or sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to cater to a diverse clientele.
- Adequate communication skills across various platforms; face-to-face, email, telephone.
- Ability to function effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling pressure during peak periods.
