Parts Advisor

Parts Advisor required in Bridgend.
- Starting salary between £25-26,250 per annum based on experience.
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

Our client, a franchise approved car dealership in the Bridgend region, requires a Parts Advisor to join their busy Parts Department.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a friendly team, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and promptly picking and supplying vehicle parts to our client’s workshop staff in order to carry out associated vehicle repairs. You will also carry out parts stock control and audits, deal with trade/retail customers regarding parts inquiries, and on occasions cover delivery runs in the absence of a Parts Delivery Driver.
Whilst knowledge of vehicle parts experience would be highly advantageous, it is non-essential as full training shall be given for this role. Overall, you will need to be IT literate given you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic telephone manner. Any experience in the motor trade or working with the Pinewood Pinnacle dealer management system would be highly advantageous but is non-essential.
