Responsibilities- Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Take charge of Goods Inwards and Outwards on a daily basis, dealing with carriers and fellow workers
- Maintain computerised stock records and requisite paperwork
- Take Customer enquiries for Spare Parts, and liaise with the sale and ordering of these
- Issue Purchase Orders as required and match incoming Delivery Notes & Invoices
- Work with Tradesmen and the Management Team to introduce agreed improvements and methods of working
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
- Keep Parts Departments in a clean and orderly state
- Direct periodic Stocktaking
- Assist with deliveries as and when required – regular carriers generally used
- ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments and all staff
- Education and Experience
- Good general standard of education with Plumbing, Gas, Electrical or Metal materials knowledge
- Knowledge and experience in customer service
- Sound ability to operate an established computer system (training given)
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance

- Current Driving License with no serious endorsements
