Parts Salesperson – Construction Equipment

£45-50k pa + OTE

Job Description:

As a Parts Salesperson, you will be responsible for promoting and selling genuine company parts to their valued customers.
This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of construction machinery, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities for parts within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new prospects.
• Provide expert product knowledge and technical assistance to customers regarding parts, ensuring they have the right solutions for their needs.
• Collaborate with the Parts Manager to develop sales strategies and meet sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to customers.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using their CRM system.
• Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parts sales within the Construction Equipment industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and parts is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
