Parts Supervisor
Salary: £31,928 - £34,923 plus excellent benefits package including
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
As a parts Supervisor you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the parts department at Scania Swindon. You are forward thinker and can build positive working relationships with the customers and the wider team. You can prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once from customers, both internally and externally to provide excellent customer service, whilst organising and developing the parts team.
- Manage the operation of the parts department to ensure effective and efficient delivery of parts to the correct customer and workshop
- Build and develop new and existing parts customers
- Proactively embark on stock checks, working to reduce stock check line discrepancy
- Deliver excellent customer service to all parts customers, both internally and externally
- Good computer skills
- Pre-empts and obtains information relating to the customers’ requirements
- Correctly interprets a customer issue.
- Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded by monitoring their performance and proactively selling.
- Maximise sales potentials by up-to-date parts knowledge and effective selling techniques.
- Understand the workshop schedule and loading systems to manage workflow and the effect on service provided.
