We currently have a vacancy for Passenger Service Agents based at Aberdeen Airport.
The successful candidates will perform the following functions:
- Check in passengers (and when necessary, assess any special needs).
- Check travel documentation and ensure passengers meet security requirements.
- Process and take payments for excess baggage.
- Meet flights and assist with inbound passengers as required.
- Board flights and make announcements.
The successful applicant will need to be a service minded individual, preferably with previous experience working in other customer facing roles.
Key competencies include flexibility, teamwork skills, accuracy and the successful applicant must be fully conversant with using a computer. You should also have the ability to work under pressure.
The position will involve shift work, including weekends and Bank Holidays. The current shift pattern involves working 6 days on, 3 days off (3 early shifts, 3 afternoon/evening shifts, 3 days off or 6 afternoon/evening shifts).
Applicants must be able to provide 5 years checkable references and provide a clear criminal record check.
