We are excited to be searching for a Pastoral Manager to join our Brand-New School Groveside School in Reading, Berkshire. If you are looking for a new and exciting challenging working in a brand-new setting and supporting the new school set up then this is the role for you!
Salary: up to GBP30,000 per annumContract: Permanent, Term Time only Hours: 37.50 hours per week, Monday to FridayGroveside School is a Brand-New School proposed to open in September 2024. We are looking for a Pastoral Manager to join us in September 2024. Groveside is set to be a 60 place school for pupils between 7 - 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Job Purpose
To support the Leadership Team to establish effective strategies in all areas of pastoral care. To develop and implement long-term behaviour plans that will guide staff to support students to overcome barriers to learning and maximise the opportunities provided for them. Working under the direction of the Head Teacher and therapy team to provide support to all students in enabling them to achieve their potential both academically and socially.
Essential experience
Experience of work within an education settingKnowledge of Ofsted Regulations and StandardsPastoral management experience in a care setting or the special educational needs sectorExperience of driving and advising on best practice in relation to positive behaviour supportWhy join Acorn Education?
