Are you a passionate Graduate seeking experience providing Pastoral Support to students in a high-achieving Secondary School?
I am currently partnered with a progressive and collaborative Secondary School and Sixth Form based in Barking who are looking to expand their pastoral team recruiting for a Pastoral Support Assistant.
Pastoral Support Assistant | The Role:

• Encourage acceptance and inclusion of supported students in all aspects of life  
• Work closely alongside the SLT team (Head of Year 10 & 11)
• Tracking the progress of students and supporting their behavioural, emotional, and social needs
• Support students with their homework and revision ahead of the exam period

Pastoral Support Assistant | Personal Specification:

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top UK University
• Excellent A-Level results (A*-B)
• Evidence of working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
• Basic understanding of the importance of safeguarding
• Ability to relate to young people and motivated to work in new and challenging situations

This will be a fantastic opportunity as a Graduate who is looking to gain experience in a school setting and be able to work alongside students ahead of their exam period and providing appropriate and effective support as a Pastoral Support Assistant.
