Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the church's ministry and operations
- Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to congregation members
- Plan and conduct worship services, including sermons, prayers, and sacraments
- Administer sacraments such as baptism and communion
- Officiate weddings, funerals, and other special ceremonies
- Develop and implement programs for spiritual growth and education
- Coordinate and lead community outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of church activities
- Manage church finances and budget
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pastor or in a leadership role within a religious organization
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Experience working with children and youth in a ministry setting
- Ability to mentor individuals in their spiritual journey
- Proficient in fundraising strategies to support church initiatives
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and ability to provide pastoral care to those in need
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey religious teachings and connect with congregation members
- Ability to educate others on religious doctrine and principles
