Responsibilities:

• Drafting, prosecuting, and managing patent applications in the field of biotechnology
• Conducting thorough patent searches and providing insightful analysis
• Advising clients on patent strategy, portfolio development, and enforcement
• Collaborating with inventors, researchers, and legal teams to identify patentable inventions
• Handling oppositions, appeals, and other contentious matters before relevant patent offices
• Staying current with industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

• A qualified attorney with a strong academic background in biotechnology or a related field
• Dual qualification as a Patent Attorney in multiple jurisdictions
• Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting biotechnology patent applications
• In-depth knowledge of global patent laws, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
