Hybrid split: 3 days in office | 2 days from home

Location: City of London

Working hours: 9am - 5pm

Our client, an internationally renowned IP law firm is looking for a Patent Administratorto join their world-class team. This is a perm role starting as soon as possible paying a salary of between £38,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Responsibilities will include and not limited to:

• Standard Correspondence & Correspondence Management
• Draft letters, emails and other correspondence for fee earner to check prior to sending
• Maintain files electronically using the document management system
• Managing formal matters such as the documents required (see below) on filing, grant and validations
• Enter filing dates, forms and documents filed on new cases, diarising fees as necessary
• Preparing various Patent Applications and Formalities
• Updating and checking various client databases
• Preparation of invoices/debit notes, and credit notes
• Secretarial-type tasks such as arranging meetings and workflow processes

Attributes/Skills Required

• Ideally seeking someone Patent Administration experience
• 3 years + IP experience and CIPA qualification
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills

The role requires good people skills as it involves working closely with other staff, including fee earners, Patent Administrators and support staff.
